AIP Foundation facilitates capacity-building workshops for Gia Lai traffic police

Gia Lai traffic traffic police brainstorm ways to address road safety challenges

AIP Foundation partnered with international road safety consultants from New Zealand and the The People’s Police Academy to build capacity for Gia Lai Traffic Police. The purpose of the visit was to assess the capability of the police to enforce speed violations and identify potential areas of improvement, with the goal of enhancing police practices to improve road user behavior and child safety in school zones. Participants discussed community perception, data led enforcement, city law enforcement methods, and public awareness strategies, among other topics. The next training in December will focus on how handling speed violations in different international contexts can also be adapted to the situation in Gia Lai and Vietnam in general.
