Communications Intern


Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

AIP Foundation is a U.S. registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization addressing the pervasive and devastating rate of road traffic crash injuries and fatalities in developing countries through a holistic set of programs, with a particular focus on helmet use. Our pillared strategy includes access to safe equipment; public awareness campaigns; school-based and targeted population campaigns; technical assistance, particularly focused on legislative advocacy and helmet standards; and research, monitoring, and evaluation. AIP Foundation has a 40-person staff with offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Phnom Penh, Cambodia; Bangkok, Thailand; and Chengdu, China. The Communications Intern will report directly to the Communications Coordinator. The responsibilities listed below are inclusive, but not exhaustive, of the role. It is reasonable to assume that additional tasks will be requested, as and when needed.


  • Create and maintain an archive of final reports, images, infographics, presentations, videos, and other internal and external organizational materials
  • Coordinate with staff to ensure data is uploaded to organizational platforms accurately and on time.
  • Assist with design requests as needed
  • Other tasks as requested by staff.


  • Certificate of internship from a U.S. registered non-governmental organization
  • One free Protec helmet after 1st month of working at AIP Foundation
  • Travel and telephone allowance of VND 500,000 per month.


  • Strong written and verbal English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
 Experience with/Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and other multimedia and content-editing software
  • Technical experience in photography, video recording, social media
  • Excellent communication skills
