AIP Foundation joined Ford Vietnam for two events this month to celebrate ten years of partnership through the Driving Skills For Life (DSFL) program, which teaches safe driving skills at no cost to participants of the course. Over 1,700 participants and 49 media attended both events, with students learning safe driving tips through interactive games such as Safe Driving, No Alcohol, 3 Seconds Rules, Honking, and Blind Spots. Since its launch, 15,000 drivers have participated in training sessions.
The celebrations also marked the five year anniversary of Ford’s “No Honking” awareness campaign in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, which aims to improve the road traffic culture in the country. Since launching in 2012, “No Honking” has developed into a successful public awareness campaign targeted at young people in Vietnam, with more than 100,000 followers on its various social networks and many popular artists participating in campaign activities.
