Mirjam Sidik, CEO of AIP Foundation, presented at the ‘Every Journey, Every Child’ Conference in London, UK. Her presentation discussed AIP Foundation’s holistic approach to improving child safety, particularly creating safe systems through evidence, advocacy, and action. The presentation was part of a panel for strategies for safer journeys to school. Hosted by the FIA Foundation, with support from the Greater London Authority, the focus of this year’s conference is on how London and other major cities are tackling air pollution, implementing policies for healthy streets, and reimagining the urban space.

The ‘Every Journey, Every Child’ Conference brings together urban, environment, transport, and child rights activists and policymakers from across the world to build momentum for practical action to deliver ‘safe and healthy journeys to school for every child’, a vital element in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
