The Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Safety Committee kicked off its 2018 road safety activities with a ceremony and road show to raise awareness within the community. The event was attended by 1,500 guests, including leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, members of 24 Districts of the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Safety Committee, representatives from the Youth’s Union, and students. AIP Foundation supported the initiative with the donation of 100 helmets through our Safety Delivered program.

In addition to the helmet handover ceremony, participants joined in a road show with road safety banners that called on the residents of Ho Chi Minh City to reduce road crashes rates in 2018, especially during the upcoming Lunar New Year. As well as on local police to support with enforcement on the road.
