During a recent workshop in Bangkok, participants in the Legal Development Program (LDP) learned about how to apply journalism techniques to advocating for road safety. They participated in media pitch exercises led by Rungthip Chotnapalai, an anchor for Channel 3 news, and listened to presentations about the current progress of the road safety program in Thailand.

The LDP participants in attendance included Pol. Lt. Col. Panupong Panudulkitti, Pol. Col. Kriangdej Chantarawong, Thanachart Paliyawate and Nichamon Thongphat, and they were joined by AIP Foundation’s Thailand Chairperson, Ratanawadee H. Winther.

The program is led globally by the World Health Organization and the Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety, and AIP Foundation coordinates its efforts in Thailand.
